Kenkō Foundation is community based Non Governmental Organisation (NGO) based in Limbe, in the South West Region of Cameroon. It was founded in January 2013 and its mission is to promote community health wellness through different programmes designed to contribute to the improvement of health and wellness especially within vulnerable populations. At Kenkō Foundation, we understand that positive health outcomes can only be achieved within a certain social, economic and environmental conditions. This has prompted Kenkō Foundation to work in other areas that impact the health and wellness of vulnerable populations such as environmental protection to protect the local population from adverse health outcomes derived from pollution, sustainable farming techniques to help rural communities to raise income which is for the most part is a major barrier why they are unable to access health services.
